Before the start of the pandemic, PC&V conceptualized its first ever cosmetics campaign starring up and coming actress Jane de Leon. Shot during the first quarter of 2020, the ad was finally launched via social media in early October.
The ad dramatized the power of Spotlight Cosmetics in transforming any woman into whoever she wanted to be. The concept made use of alter egos – each of the vignettes featured two unique persona of Jane: sweet versus sophisticated, edgy versus classic, to wholesome versus sexy.
To create the different looks of Jane, the clients and PC&V collaborated with make-up expert Owen Sarmiento, celebrity hairstylist Brent Sales, and trendy fashion stylist Rex Atienza. Sarmiento explains, "Spotlight make-up is transformational make-up. When you use it, you can discover new things about yourself."
